Erin Blain is a ACPI Certified Parenting Coach and Consultant, a Certified Family Coach for Behavior Regulation, the founder of Solving Parenting Puzzles, LLC ,as well as, a TBRI Practitioner. Her passion is to share practical tools for parents, caregivers, and teachers who work to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children, whether biological, fostered or adopted. The framework she uses includes TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) a relationship- based, trauma-informed intervention based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research which keeps connection as its heartbeat.

Knowledge is a gift, but experience often produces the most enduring lessons. A mom for over 30 years, Erin has also spent a lot of time in the trenches parenting six children who face the unpredictable chronic stress of serious health and learning challenges. In fact, while homeschooling their family a total of 26 years and teaching in a co-op setting for 10+ years, she learned so much about thinking patterns, teaching with the brain in mind, and learning styles that she began sharing the information she discovered.

Through workshops, classes, and support groups she has been helping parents the last 20+ years tackle challenges like dyslexia, sensory processing disorder, ADHD, obsessive compulsive disorder, oppositional defiance disorder and other puzzling learning and behavioral challenges. And not surprisingly, she has learned as much from parents as she has taught them.

Erin’s training has been exclusively brain-based, trauma-informed, and relationship oriented. However, what continues to qualify her the most is the blessing of walking through life with her own children and their families alongside her husband of 35 years. They continue to be her most treasured gifts and greatest teachers.
